He was transported to an area hospital for treatment of a gunshot wound to the leg, according to police.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Metro police are investigating after a man was found with a gunshot wound to his leg near downtown Nashville late Sunday night. Officials believe the fire was set on purpose.

WASHINGTON (NEXSTAR) – On Monday, the White House, already encircled by multiple layers of protection, got another barrier – a "non-scalable" fence around the perimeter. Crews found the car set on fire in the 1500 block of Mount Herman Road around 6:30 Sunday night.

Now, police are looking for the suspect at the center of it all. Upon arriving, the trooper found a driver and passenger who had been involved in a wreck. Officers responded around 10:30 p.m. to the intersection of Lafayette Street and Second Avenue South, where they located the shooting victim.

Nashville Metro Police officers responded to a shooting at 7:30 p.m. Saturday in the city’s Donelson neighborhood, the agency said in a statement obtained by news outlets.

A 24-year-old Nashville man died early Saturday after he was shot while driving near the intersection of 14th Avenue North and Cass Street. to police, they both gave a name, date of birth, and social security number.
