A popular car park found at the top of Gale Road north of Keswick this car park is great for easy access onto Skiddaw or Latrigg but tends to be busy no matter the season and has recently been resurfaced from the Hotel at Underscar to the car park itself. If you opt to ignore Little Man continue on the bridleway as it skirts the northeast side of Little Man and is followed to another gate. The car park has around 15 spaces in total split across two areas; the upper car park being more suitable for those with mobility problems as it is nearer to the viewpoint (approx.10m) and work has been done in recent years to improve the surface of the viewing point for wheelchair access.
