Many travellers enjoy visiting Oxford Castle & Prison (1.1 km), Bodleian Library (0.5 km), and Sheldonian Theatre (0.6 km). we loved it,a magical place!! the grounds are amazing and the walk around the water meadow and seeing the deer and stags was brilliant,oxford is a beautiful city and this was a perfect base for our few days here,i would recommend this place and would stay here again if i come back to oxford,just make sure you check when booking if you are in the main building,waynflete building or daubeny building which is where the self contained flats are! A flat overlooking the Botanical gardens was spacious though somewhat studenty but was fine for our purposes. It was a really nice room itself over the road from the porter’s lodge (the room was called Daubeny double bedded Flat A when I booked)- own kitchen, bathroom and sofa/study area overlooking the University Botanic Gardens and mezzanine level with double bed. Conveniently located restaurants include Moya, Oxford's Grill, and Kazbar. This is the version of our website addressed to speakers of English in India.
